dbForge Schema Compare for SQL Server is a database tool, mainly to be used by database administrators when they need to compare schemas and properties of two SQL Server databases. It allows comparison of live databases, database script folders and native SQL Server backups, amongst others.
When installing the application, you will be asked to associate SQL scripts (.sql), Schema comparison files (.scomp) and Database schema snapshot files (.snap) file extensions with the application. You will be also able to generate native images for all assemblies, which are used to speed up application startup.

Script generated by synchronization wizard can be opened in internal editor, saved to a file or executed directly to the target database.
dbForge Schema Compare for SQL Server supports all SQL Server versions, and can be also integrated into SQL Server Management Studio 2016. You will be also able to keep track of your comparison activities, by creating reports in Excel or HTML format.
